Launching the JustCoin Lab Blog

What this space is for, and how it fits alongside the documentation.

The /docs section covers the protocol: what the program does, how the instructions work, what the fees are, what the legal position is. It is a reference. It does not change much once it is written.

This blog is for everything else.

Use-cases that are easier to explain with a walkthrough than a definition. Design decisions that have a story behind them. Features that benefit from context rather than just a description. Situations that the docs mention but do not explore.

What to expect here

Articles here will cover things like:

  • How to think about the collect/release mechanic — not just what it does, but when it makes sense to use it and when it does not.
  • Token design considerations — what makes a token worth creating under a fixed-rule protocol, and what kinds of projects fit the model well.
  • Feature walkthroughs — the Flight Deck, the Verify tool, the Live Runway display, and what each one is actually for.
  • Protocol decisions — why JCv1 was built the way it was, what tradeoffs were made, and what that means for creators and collectors.

How articles are written

Articles here are written by the JustCoin Lab operator. There are no guest posts. There is no content schedule. Articles appear when there is something worth saying.

The /docs section is the authoritative record of how the protocol works. If this blog ever conflicts with the docs, the docs are correct.

New articles will appear in this list newest-first. The blog is linked from the site header.
